Touchline – Inkunzi (feat. Kwesta & Mnqobi Yazo)
Blending raw storytelling with striking visuals, Inkunzi captures the tension, hope, and heart of township life — reminding us that leadership begins with the choices we make.
Inkunzi is a powerful visual story about leadership, purpose, and the responsibility we carry within our communities. Shot as a cinematic love letter to Thembisa, the music video follows Touchline as he reflects on the social issues faced by many people of colour growing up in South African townships — from the choices we make to the consequences that ripple through our families, our peers, and the generations that follow.
The film asks a fundamental question: Are you a leader guided by greed or by purpose?
Touchline steps into his role as a voice for Thembisa and ghetto kids across South Africa, using his platform to empower, uplift, and challenge viewers to choose a path rooted in integrity.
The story features:
Touchline as the central figure and narrator
Kwesta as the protagonist who bridges wisdom and experience
Mnqobi Yazo as the antagonist, representing the temptations and pressures that shape the township journey
