The Sound of the Drum is the final chapter of my debut album They Thought I Was Done — The final heartbeat where rhythm, tradition and destiny collide. A short film that represents the journey from darkness to destiny.

This piece tells the story of a man walking through darkness, guided only by faith, ancestors and the sound of the drum. It’s a tribute to African spirituality, culture, and the silent battles we fight on our way to becoming.

This isn’t just an outro. It’s a prayer. A calling. A reminder that even when the world doubted, the rhythm of purpose never stopped beating. Through African spirituality, ancestral energy, and cinematic storytelling, this short film reflects the moment a man surrenders to the voice of the drum and rises.
